Shipping & Returns

The Edington Collection ships to: USA, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam & Canada. Please Note that an order cannot be cancelled once it has been submitted. Shipping addresses must be a physical address, our carriers will not ship to a P.O. Box.

STANDARD DELIVERY

Items ship via UPS Ground, USPS or Canada Post. The Edington Collection makes every effort to ship orders in the 48 contiguous United States within 24 - 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. International orders are shipped weekly on Thursday, excluding holidays. Shipments within the 48 contiguous United States usually arrive at their destination within 3 - 5 business days of shipment date, excluding weekends and holidays.

Delivery rates are determined by order value:

Non-Business Members

Shipments in the 48 contiguous United States:
Orders up to $70 are charged a flat rate of $10 for shipping, orders over $70 are charged a shipping rate of 15% of the order value.

Shipments to APO & FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico & Guam:
Shipped weekly on Thursday, excluding holidays. Orders up to $50 are charged a flat rate of $22.00 for shipping and orders over $50 are charged a shipping rate of 35% of the order value.

Shipments to Canada:
Shipped weekly on Thursday, excluding holidays. Orders up to $60 are charged a flat rate of $29.95 for shipping and orders over $60 are charged a shipping rate of 35% of the order value.

Wholesale Business Members

Shipping rates are calculated as a percentage of your Wholesale Price. These percentages are much lower when considered as a percentage of the Retail (catalog) value! Even though the wholesale prices are less, the shipping weight remains the same. If you use the Non-Business Members shipping rates to charge your retail customers - your cost should be covered!

Shipments in the 48 contiguous United States:
Orders up to $60 are charged a flat rate of $10 for shipping, orders over $60 are charged a shipping rate of 19.5% and orders over $700 are charged a shipping rate of 14.5% of the order value.

Shipments to APO & FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico & Guam:
Shipped weekly on Thursday, excluding holidays. Orders up to $50 are charged a flat rate of $22.00 for shipping and orders over $50 are charged a shipping rate of 35% of the order value.

Shipments to Canada:
Shipped weekly on Thursday, excluding holidays. Orders up to $60 are charged a flat rate of $29.95 for shipping and orders over $60 are charged a shipping rate of 35% of the order value.

RETURNS & CLAIMS

The Edington Collection makes every effort to see that your orders are shipped correctly and that they reach you safely. Every order shipped is double-checked for accuracy.

Plastic "air-pillows" are used as cushioning material when packing your order. This packaging material offers excellent protection with minimal environmental impact.

Product measurements may not be exact. Sizes shown are close approximations. Photographs are of the products available at the time of printing. Products may be updated, or models of equal or better value may be substituted. Product depictions on packaging may vary slightly from the actual product because of updating, products are handmade, or because several models of a product are packaged in one style box.

Due to differences in monitor settings, there may be a slight variation in color on screen, versus the actual material.

NON-DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE RETURNS

You must receive prior authorization to return an item to The Edington Collection. To obtain The Edington Collection's authorization to return an item for credit or replacement, simply get a Return Authorization within 10 days of purchase.

Non-defective merchandise must meet the following conditions to qualify for return acceptance:

  • Non-defective merchandise returns incur a 20% restocking fee, and must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Merchandise must be in its original packaging.
  • Merchandise and merchandise packaging must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged.
  • Clearance items are only returnable if they are defective.
  • Returns that do not meet the conditions described in the return policy will not be accepted and a credit will not be issued.

ITEMS DAMAGED DURING SHIPMENT

All merchandise damaged during shipment is covered by the shipper. If you receive merchandise damaged during shipping, please request a Return Authorization within 10 days of the date of shipment of your order, and your claim will be processed immediately.

VISIBLE DAMAGE: If you receive a damaged shipment from The Edington Collection, inspect each box for signs of damage such as crushed, torn, open, unseamed tape, etc. If you do find outward damage, sign the receipt with the words "Exception - Damage." Request a Return Authorization and give the order/invoice number of the shipment involved. Explain the damage, number of cartons received. This information will prepare us for a claim report from the carrier.

NO VISIBLE DAMAGE: If you should receive a shipment that shows no visible damage, but upon inspection you discover damage due to evident rough handling, request a Return Authorization and report the damage immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: Depending on the monetary value of the damaged item, we may require that you supply an image of the damage in order to process your claim.

SHORTAGES

If you receive an order from The Edington Collection and find it has not been completely filled:

  • Check to make sure all cartons in the shipment were delivered.
  • Check your packing list. If the item was out of stock, it was not charged to your account.
  • Thoroughly check the cartons and packing. Small items may be under the packing material. Upon receipt, check the condition of the cartons. If there is a shortage due to tampering, a claim must be placed with the carrier. Follow the same procedures as if there is visible damage.
  • If there is no tampering and an actual shortage exists, request a Return Authorization within 10 days of shipment. We'll need to know the order number, number of cartons received, the missing item number, and whether you prefer credit or a replacement.

The Edington Collection will investigate the shortage. When the item is confirmed as not shipped, it will be re-shipped or credit will be issued to your account, whichever you prefer.

LOST ORDERS

It doesn't happen often, but sometimes carriers do lose orders. If you have placed an order and have not received it in a reasonable time, within 30 days of placing the order Contact Us.

The following information is needed to process your claim:

  • Your membership sign in name.
  • The order number of the lost order.

The Edington Collection will check to find the date your order was shipped and initiate a tracer. Normally a response is received within 10 working days after the tracer is initiated.

The Edington Collection will notify you when results of the tracer are received. Results are generally one of the following:

  • The carrier is unable to prove delivery. Therefore, credit has been issued to your account, or we have reshipped your merchandise as you requested.
  • The carrier shows the delivery was made. The carrier will submit a photocopy of the delivery receipt which will be forwarded to you. It will show the order was delivered in full, the signature of the person who received the order, and the date it was delivered.

The carrier may have returned the order to The Edington Collection for the following reasons:

  • The carrier made three attempts at delivery and no one was home.
  • Your delivery address is a Post Office Box. The carrier's policy may preclude P.O. Box delivery, which is why The Edington Collection highly recommends not to ship to P.O. Boxes.
  • The carrier notified you but received no response within seven days; the package was returned.
  • You have moved and your order was sent to your former address. The package may have been retained by someone who signed for the package at you old address, or the shipment was returned to The Edington Collection
